The Halesi Development Committee has started discussions with Kirat Rai Yayokkha, political parties and Halesi Tuwachung Municipality to develop and promote tourism of the multi-religious site Halesi.
Tank Rai, Chairman of the Halesi Development Committee, introduced the plan made by Committee and its implementation.
During the discussion held with the representatives of Kirat Rai Yayokkha, it was informed about the construction of Kirat Rai's Chulo "Wood Stove" near Basaha Cave in Halesi.
Similarly on the meeting, Kirat Rai Yayokkha urged to make "cultural ring road" for connecting Halesi Cave with other cultural sites. Bhogi Raj Chamling suggested the name of Halesi Development committee should be changed to Halesi Development Fund and Halesi Cave should be renamed as "Khokchilipa Bukto".
Another meeting held with the political parties to discuses about future plans. Representatives of various political parties have put forward their suggestions on the issue. They also expressed their commitment to have positive support from all parties on how to make the overall Halesi better. Representatives of Communist Party of Nepal (CPN), Nepali Congress, Janata Samajbadi Party and Rastriya Prajatantra Party participated in the discussion.
